It's your turn to blog about this topic, and we'll share your post with the Brazen community.

Every once in a while, we give YOU a topic and see what you can come up with. Write a stellar blog post, and we’ll share it with the Brazen community.

The September Run-Around

The topic: How important is your first job?

When we published Allie Gray Freeland’s post about why your first job out of college is the most important of all, lots of Brazen readers reached out with their opinions.

In response, we published a post on why your first job out of college doesn’t matter, but the team you work with does, and another on all the lessons you’ll learn when you change careers.

Now we’d love to hear from you: Is your first job all that important to your long-term career? If yes, WHY? If you think the answer is a big fat no, what IS important to focus on during your first few years in the workforce?

How to participate: Write a post about this topic on your blog, and leave the link to that post below in the comments. Only one post per participant.

Once the deadline rolls around, we’ll pull all the submissions into one post here on Brazen Life, so you can see what your fellow Brazenites came up with (and get some promotion for your own blog, too).

Deadline: Sept. 30, 2012. That gives you two weeks! Then watch for your link in our next Run-Around post in October.

Ready to get writing? We can’t wait to see what you come up with!
