What's new at Brazen? Check out our latest product release, focused on providing a top-notch user experience.

In user experience, small things make a big difference. The Brazen team has been hard at work on updates that make the platform faster, easier and more delightful to use.

Here’s a list of the exciting updates:

Your Events. Accessible to all.

At Brazen, we believe everyone deserves equal access to opportunities. Whether it’s landing a dream job or making a new professional connection, we’re committed to making our platform accessible to everyone.

We assembled a team whose chief focus is to make our platform more accessible. This team’s initial scope of work focused on the experience for your event’s attendees. Today, we’re proud to announce that our platform is now accessible to those with visual impairments.

Brazen is committed to meeting or exceeding the requirement of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 Level AA (WCAG 2.0 AA). We will continue this important work and promise to keep our customers informed of our progress.

Emoji

😀 🎉

These fun, light-hearted images express a variety of feelings in ways that text alone just doesn’t. The truth is: they have found their way into our daily lives and they aren’t going anywhere! Whether you’re providing resume feedback or hoping to appear more approachable in your next online networking event, emoji are a great way to add that extra bit of personality into a conversation. 👍

Welcome Slideshow

Today, we’re pleased to introduce a revamped, instructional slideshow for participants of your online events. We’ve revamped the content — making it more welcoming and instructional than ever before.

New Landing Screen Backgrounds

A wise man said, “a picture is worth a thousand words.” We’re pleased to provide seven new modern images for you to choose from when building your promotional landing screens. (You can also use these images in booths!)

Download a .ZIP of all Registrant Documents

This allows you to download a zip of registrant documents (resume, cover letters, etc) in one fell swoop. While this may seem minor, resumes are the most popular type of uploaded file and we know making them easier to download at once would be a big difference to our users.

Revamped Instructional Emails to Representatives

We updated the event reminder emails sent to Representatives of your events, so they present a series of steps to take before an event takes place. We’re pleased with the progress here and are confident these revamped emails will go a long way in getting Representatives up-to-speed.

P.S. Resumes Not Required on New Templates

While a resume can go a long way, you certainly wouldn’t want it to keep someone from registering for your next online event. Sometimes that’s the straw that breaks the 🐫’s back.

Moving forward, new templates for open house and expo events will not include an ‘upload your resume’ requirement.
